Fitting For Your For the Girls Compression Top

Follow these two step measuring instructions and then calculate below to determine YOUR Top size.

Step 1

Using a measuring tape, grasp the starting end of the tape in one hand and the longer end in the other hand. Wrap the measuring tape around the back of you at the level of a bra strap. Make sure it's flat to get an accurate measurement.

Snuggly pull the measuring tape around your body toward the front, directing the starting end of the measuring tape in the middle of your body, where a bra band would be.

Place the starting end of the measuring tape flat against your skin and crossing the other side of the measuring tape over it. Take note where the end of the measuring tape crosses itself. Now take that measurement and round it down to the next lower number. For example: In this picture, she is measuring between 27 inches & 28 inches. She would round down to 27 inches.

Step 2

Using a measuring tape, grasp the starting end of the tape in one hand and the longer end in the other hand. Wrap the measuring tape around the back of you at the level of your under arms. Make sure it's flat to get an accurate measurement .

Snuggly pull the measuring tape around your body toward the front, directing the starting end of the measuring tape in the middle of your body, even with the crease of the under arms.

Place the starting end of the measuring tape flat against your skin and crossing the other side of the measuring tape over it. Take note where the end of the measuring tape crosses itself. Now take that measurement and round it down to the next lower number. For example: In this picture, she is measuring between 33 inches & 34 inches. She would round down to 33 inches.

Now for the Hard Part.......MATH!!

Calculate Your Top Size:

Now, take the two measurements, add them together, then divide by 2.

X-SMALL: 26-30

SMALL: 31-34

MEDIUM: 35-38

LARGE: 39-42

X-LARGE: 43-45

XX-LARGE: 46-48

Example from above:

Step 1 measurement 27 + Step 2 measurement 33 = 60

60 / 2 = 30

30 is the final measurement.

According to the size chart above, this person would order an X-SMALL.

Not A Good Fit

The sleeve is loose and wrinkled. The fit is NOT SNUG and is not against the skin.

When the arms are lifted overhead, the bottom seam rises above the breast area.

A Good Fit

The sleeve and underarm should be SNUG and against the skin when the arm is lifted to 45 degrees.

When the arm is down, the top stays SNUG against the underarm of the body.

When the arms are lifted overhead, the bottom seam stays under the breast area, similar to where a sports bra would sit.
